Personal Alterations & Repairs

From adjusting hems and refining the fit to replacing zips and mending seams, we take a considered approach to each garment, helping you feel comfortable and confident in what you wear.

A minimum charge of £25 applies per booking. Prices shown are starting prices. Your final quote is confirmed after assessment, taking fabric, lining, construction and fitting requirements into account. Replacement zips and other materials are quoted separately.

Bridalwear, tailoring involving jacket construction, delicate eveningwear and redesign work are individually quoted.

Bridal & Wedding-Party Alterations

Feel comfortable, confident and beautifully dressed for the celebration. LeEkhaya offers alterations for wedding dresses, bridesmaid outfits and outfits for mothers of the bride or groom.

Whether your garment needs a length adjustment or a more considered fit, we’ll discuss the changes you’d like and assess what’s possible, with attention to its fabric, construction and details.

Each starting price covers the stated adjustment, not a complete alteration package. Lace, beading, multiple layers, corsetry and substantial restyling are individually quoted.

Your bridal alteration quote is confirmed after assessing your outfit and fitting requirements. The quote will specify the work and fittings included. Any additional changes are discussed and priced before proceeding.

Corporate, Hotel & Hospitality Alterations

Help your team look polished and feel comfortable at work. LeEkhaya offers uniform and businesswear alterations for corporate teams, hotels and hospitality businesses, combining individual fit with a consistent professional appearance.

Fittings can be arranged at LeEkhaya or at your premises, subject to availability. On-site fittings carry an additional fee, quoted in advance based on your location and fitting requirements.

Corporate, Hotel & Hospitality Price Guide

Uniform trouser shortening: from £25 per garment

On-site fitting visit: from £150, covering up to two hours at your premises

The on-site visit fee covers the fitting appointment only; alteration work is charged separately. Travel and parking are quoted separately before booking. For larger teams, staff numbers and appointment arrangements are agreed in advance.

Prices shown are starting prices. Your project quote is confirmed after reviewing garment quantities, fitting requirements and deadlines. A 50% deposit is requested once the quote is accepted.

Red-Carpet & Awards-Event Alterations

Step into the spotlight with a fit that feels right. LeEkhaya offers eveningwear and occasionwear alterations for awards ceremonies, premieres, gala dinners and red-carpet events, working with individuals, stylists and event teams.

Each garment is assessed with attention to its silhouette, movement and finishing details, so we can discuss the adjustments needed for your occasion.

Fittings can be arranged at LeEkhaya or at your location, subject to availability. On-site fittings carry an additional fee, quoted in advance based on location and fitting requirements.

Eveningwear starting prices reflect more involved work; straightforward garments can use our personal-alterations guide. Your final quote is confirmed after assessing the garment and fitting requirements.

The on-site fitting fee covers the appointment only. Alterations, travel and parking are charged separately and quoted before booking. Event-day attendance or urgent work is separately quoted and subject to availability.

For larger bookings, a 50% deposit is requested after the quote is accepted, with the balance due before garment handover.

One-Off Garments & Small-Scale Production

Bring your garment ideas to life with LeEkhaya. We work with designers and individuals on one-off garments and small production runs, whether you’re developing a personal piece or a limited collection.

Share your sketches or reference images, intended quantities, fabric details and preferred completion date. We’ll review your brief and discuss the development and construction work needed.

Pattern making and toile making can be discussed as part of your project. Scope, pricing, materials and timing are agreed before work begins.

Garment Construction Price Guide

Starting prices below are for construction from an agreed, usable pattern.

Simple unlined skirt: from £120 per garment
Simple blouse or top: from £150 per garment
Trousers: from £180 per garment
Simple unlined dress: from £220 per garment
Lined, tailored, bridal or complex garments: individually quoted
Small production runs: quoted per style and quantity, following review of the pattern and an approved sample

Construction prices exclude pattern making, toile making, fabric, trims and specialist finishes unless specified in your quote. Small-batch pricing depends on garment complexity, quantities and whether development work is required. Your final quote is confirmed after reviewing the brief.

For one-off garments, a 50% deposit is requested once the quote is accepted, with the balance due before handover. For production runs, development is quoted separately and staged payments are agreed before work begins.

Pattern Making

LeEkhaya offers pattern making for designers and individuals, turning garment ideas into patterns for the next stage of development.

Whether you need a pattern for a one-off piece or a design you intend to have made elsewhere, share your sketches, reference images, measurements and fabric details. We’ll discuss the shape, fit and construction requirements before agreeing the scope, pricing and timing.

Pattern making is available as a standalone service or as part of a garment-development project. Toile making can also be arranged to test and refine the design before working with the final fabric.

Your final quote reflects the design’s complexity and development requirements. Pattern-making prices exclude toile making, garment construction, additional sizes and digital conversion unless expressly included in your quote. Before work begins, we’ll agree the measurements, pattern format, work included and any revision allowance.

For new patterns, a 50% deposit is requested after the quote is accepted, with the balance due before the pattern is handed over.

Toile Making

Explore your design before committing to the final fabric. A toile is a test version of a garment used to assess its shape, fit and construction.

LeEkhaya offers toile making for designers and individuals, using either a pattern developed with us or an existing pattern you supply. It can be commissioned as a standalone service or as part of a wider garment-development project.

Share your pattern, design references, measurements and intended final fabric. We’ll review your requirements and agree the toile materials, fitting arrangements, any pattern adjustments included, pricing and timing before work begins.

Toile Making Price Guide

Starting prices below are for one toile in one agreed size, using an agreed, usable pattern. Basic construction is suitable for assessing the design rather than finished-garment detailing.

Tailored jackets, corsetry, bridal and complex designs: individually quoted

Toile materials, fitting appointments, pattern adjustments and further versions are quoted separately unless expressly included. We accept existing client patterns, subject to review. Your quote will specify what’s included before work begins.

For larger toile projects, a 50% deposit is requested after accepting the quote, with the balance due before handover. For smaller standalone jobs, full payment is requested after the quote is agreed.
